My name is Anna Meyer. On June 28, 2014, I married my best friend, Doug Meyer (Dr. Wile E. Coyote, as I call him sometimes here). A few days after our wedding, we headed from Minnesota to Kentucky, where we will be living for the next few years. Dr. Wile E. is a med school student at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM), and I have done a lot of things here, including music lessons and writing for the local paper. I am currently not working because of my unpredictable health, but I get to stay at home and look after my baby girl, Lydia (born Sept 1, 2016)!
Something interesting about me that I blog a lot about is MS. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004, but it will NEVER define me. God defines me! He has truly done some remarkable things in my life. I have gone from completely type-A, needed everything in my control, to being completely (or, as much as I can) type-God, completely depending on him. I am not ashamed of the gospel, which saved me and keeps me from Satan’s grasp! I have been washed by the water and I will sing God’s praises forever! I am not perfect, but God sees Christ’s holy and perfect righteousness when he looks at me. What more do I need, Father, other than you?

It is wonderful.
I have lived for 32 years with chronic vertigo / constant dizziness which falls under the category of vestibular dysfunction. One truly learns fast just WHO is in control and where any strength we have to cling to Jesus comes from – surely deepens our walk with the Lord. Surely the BEST good to be an outcome of being diagnosed.
I am on a volunteer team of devotional writers for Rest Ministries – an online Christian support group for those living with any chronic illness or challenge – many living with more than one chronic illness. One of our writes lives with MS. Bless you and I know your writing and your life is going to minister to many.
